Let me tell you, Michael Buffer has nothing on this lady.  Pride will forever be missed due the aural magnificence that is the announcer.  All hail crazy trill and falsetto lady!!

 That’s right ladies and gentlemen, my favorite show is coming back for a fourth season!!  Apparently this is old news, but it’s new to me so I’m going to scream in glee for a little bit.  No release date for the premiere has been announced however.  In other related news, the gang from It’s Always Sunny will be creating a new show called Boldly Going Nowhere which will air on FOX.  I can’t wait.

Asia cannot seem to catch a break.  With the tsunami only a couple years ago causing untold damage throughout asia, they get struck again by mother nature.  A cyclone in Myanmar has caused more severe damage with a death toll reaching over 100,000.  It is hard to imagine something causing so much damage in such a short period of time.  Ninja’s everywhere mourn for the mounting losses in Asia and our thoughts are with those who are struggling to survive now.  As I was reading on the events, I came across this incredible interactive satellite imagery of Myanmar from the New York Times.  Just thought I would pass it along to show the devastation caused by the cyclone.[NY Times]

I miss the good ol’ days of hip hop.  From the original pioneers like Grandmaster Flash and the Sugarhill Gang to the early days of Gangsta Rap with N.W.A. which lead to Dr. Dre, Snoop, 2Pac and the rest of Death Row, hip hop is definately not like it used to be, but you need not fret any longer!  Its The Rub  has put together mixes of 20 years of hip hop, from 1979-1999.  Big up to ItsTheRub for their work on these tracks as some of them feature a lot of songs and last 3 hours long.  Reminisce to the days when sunroof cadillac’s were hot and ghetto blasters ruled the scene.

I dont think I need to tell you that ninjas have excellent peripheral vision, vital for preventing the enemy ambush or even taking a quick peek at the hottie walking by which brings me to my point.  Every urban ninja must eventually try to procure the funds to have 2 HDTVs for the living room.  This setup is awesome for football as you can watch 2 games at the same time, but with lot’s of other things as well.  Instead of having to fight with others to see who controls the media, one person can play games while the other watches tv.  Our home has all the consoles and we often are playing games on one tv while the other one is showing broadcast television.  Now that we are used to having two tv’s in the living room I’m not sure how we could ever go back.

The New York Giants have won SuperBowl XLII 17-14.  This upset victory has to be the one of the biggest, if not the biggest upset in superbowl history.  The Patriots had absolutely dominated pretty much the entire season only showing the slight possibility to lose towards the end of the regular season.  All the credit in the world to the Giants who were absolutely amazing on the road and able to slay the beast that is the Patriots.  I can’t imagine how good Freddy Krueger Tom Coughlin feels right now after just about everybody thought he should be fired at the end of last season.  Congratulations Giants, I hope the Seahawks can one day experience the same thing.

Today is Superbowl Sunday!! The only problem is this year has been such a let down, not only did my beloved Seahawks have a dissapointing finish to the season but the Patriots have dominated so much that it has taken a lot of fun away from watching all the other games. Maybe if I had some of these cupcakes I could enjoy the game a lot more as they do look scrumptious. Come on Giants, make the game interesting please!!!

The online ad/services market is about to get shaken up. The rumors have finally come true and Microsoft has put in a bid for Yahoo offering $44.6 billion dollars. If it goes through Google will receive some real competition in the online adspace market which they have dominated. You would expect that Microsoft/Yahoo could be a very formidable competitor to Google.
